Balancing Emotion and Clarity

One of the key challenges was striking a balance between clarity and emotion—ensuring the design was both informative and deeply resonant. The exhibition required a visual language that complemented the artwork without overpowering it, while also creating a natural flow for visitors. Additionally, integrating multiple media, printed materials.

The design approach was rooted in themes of introspection, transformation, and fluidity.

I developed a visual system that incorporated:

  • Organic shapes and soft gradients to evoke a sense of serenity and emotional movement.

  • A calming color palette to reinforce the theme of healing and renewal.

  • Typography that blended structure with expression, using clear, readable fonts for guidance and more fluid, personal letterforms to convey storytelling.
